It is the third-largest member of the Local Group, after the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and the Milky Way. M33 features loose, well-defined spiral arms filled with bright star-forming regions, including NGC 604, one of the largest HII regions known. With its rich clusters and nebulae, M33 offers a breathtaking view of galactic evolution and stellar birth.
